From its humble beginnings in the 1980's to its current status as the leading supporter of junior tennis in Alamance County, the Alamance Junior Tennis Foundation has grown into a well-respected charitable organization. AJTF strives to fulfill its mission by initiating, coordinating and funding various programs that promote youth tennis throughout the community.
AJTF has been directly involved in initiating and partially funding over $300,000 worth of new and renovated tennis facilites in our community.
AJTF soley coordinates and funds the Fall and Spring Middle School Program; Summer Junior Tennis League; Junior Varsity Challenge Tournament and the Aces & Deuces Tennis Camp.
Additionally, AJTF provides local players with tennis scholarships and gives much needed financial support to high school coaches and teams.
AJTF holds an Annual Tennis Banquet that honors all local tennis players for their accomplishments. Awards are given to All Conference High School players, USTA state ranked players and all coaches.
